The IKKER Competition in Makarska brought together diverse chefs from various Balkan countries to compete in different culinary categories. This prestigious event highlighted the rich culinary traditions and innovative techniques of the region.
Marketing should be at the table, but not be the meal
On the final night, attended by over 150 guests, Qendra për Edukim Kulinar (QEK) was proudly represented by Chef Sokol Prenga, Chef Arman Kikino, and Chef Naim Bashmili. They prepared a buffet featuring over 20 traditional Albanian dishes. This culinary showcase was part of QEK’s collaboration with the Association of Chefs from Mediterranean and European Regions (SCMER), aimed at promoting Albanian cuisine across Europe.
The investor approach to marketing
The event not only celebrated the culinary arts but also fostered cultural exchange and mutual appreciation among the participating chefs and attendees. The exquisite Albanian dishes presented by QEK’s chefs were a testament to the country’s rich gastronomic heritage and its vibrant culinary scene.
“Food is a passport that allows us to explore, appreciate, and celebrate the diverse cultures of our world.“
