DegustAlbania Debuts in Portugal

In celebration of Albania’s November holidays in 2018, Qendra për Edukim Kulinar (QEK), in collaboration with the Honorary Consulate of Albania in Portugal, hosted an event under the DegustAlbania program to showcase Albanian cuisine in the Lisbon region.

Marketing should be at the table, but not be the meal

The special reception, organized to commemorate Albania’s Independence Day, featured two renowned Albanian chefs, Sokol Prenga and Oltion Veshi. They presented a diverse menu featuring dishes from various Albanian regions, highlighting the rich culinary heritage of the country.

The event was attended by representatives from Portuguese institutions, civil society, and the Albanian diaspora in the Portuguese capital. This gathering not only celebrated Albania’s cultural heritage but also fostered a sense of community among attendees.

The investor approach to marketing

The DegustAlbania initiative aims to promote Albanian cuisine globally, creating opportunities for cultural exchange and showcasing the unique flavors and traditions of Albania.

“Sharing our culinary heritage is a bridge that connects cultures and celebrates our unique traditions.“
